Why must my first Direct Pass payout be the full amount?
Your first Direct Pass payout must be the full amount above the safety net, up to the first cap.
Updated November 2, 2026
On Direct Pass, your first payout must include the full amount available above the safety net, up to the first payout cap. You cannot choose a smaller amount on that first payout.
Why this rule exists
Direct Pass gives you a funded account from day one, without an evaluation. The first payout confirms your performance on the account, and withdrawing the full available amount resets the account to a clean starting point for the payouts that follow.
How the amount is calculated
First payout = balance − (starting balance + safety net), up to the first cap
The amount is calculated automatically and fixed in your payout request. You only need to confirm it.
Example on a 10K Direct Pass
| Amount | |
|---|---|
| Starting balance | $10,000 |
| Safety net (4%) | $400 |
| Safety net level | $10,400 |
| Current balance | $11,000 |
| Available above the safety net | $600 |
| First payout cap | $500 |
| First payout | $500 |
| You receive (80% split) | $400 |
The remaining $100 stays in your account and can be withdrawn in your next payout.
After the first payout
- From the 2nd payout onwards, you can choose any amount between $250 and your maximum.
- Your profit split increases from 80% to 90%.
- Payouts are available every 5 days, as long as you meet the requirements.
