To keep an account active, you need to trade on it regularly. If an account has no trading activity for 14 consecutive days, it is closed for inactivity.
The inactivity rule
| Rule | |
|---|---|
| Applies to | All accounts: Challenge Flex, Challenge Edge, Livex, Direct Pass and Freedom |
| Inactivity period | 14 consecutive calendar days without closing a trade |
| What happens | The account is closed for inactivity |
The 14 days are counted from the last trade you closed on that account. Each account is counted separately.
Going on holiday or need a break?
You can ask us to pause your account so it is not closed while you are away, for example during a holiday or for personal reasons.
- Open a ticket from Dashboard → Support before your break starts.
- Include the account login(s), the reason and the dates you will be away.
- Our team will confirm the pause in the ticket.
While your account is paused, the 14 days are not counted. When the pause ends, the count starts again from zero.
Good to know
- Logging in to your platform without trading does not count as activity.
- Requests should be made before the account reaches 14 days of inactivity.
- Every request is reviewed individually by our team.
