Which documents are accepted?

To verify your identity, you need one valid, government-issued photo ID. The document must be in your name and in force on the day you verify.

Driving licence	Front and back. Must be a full licence, not a provisional one
Residence permit	Front and back. Must include your photo and date of birth

Photocopies, scans or screenshots	Only the original document is accepted
Photos of a screen	The camera must capture the physical document
Student, work or bank cards	They are not official identity documents
Damaged or unreadable documents	All details must be clearly visible
Documents of another person	The document must belong to the account holder

Requirements for the photos

• All four corners of the document must be visible.
• No glare, shadows or blur. Take the photo in a well-lit place.
• Every detail must be readable: name, date of birth, document number and photo.
• For the selfie, look straight at the camera, with your face uncovered.

Your name must match

The name on your document must match:

• The name on your Winbance account.
• The holder of your payout method (Binance, bank account or wallet).
